I'm currently employed as a sports reporter for The Garden City Telegram, a six-day, 7,500 circulation daily newspaper located in Western Kansas. During my stay with The Telegram, I've spent most of my time as the beat writer responsible for Garden City High School, one of the largest prep institutions in the entire state, while filling in with coverage of Garden City Community College and the other 18 area schools in the paper's coverage area. Among the events I've covered include the Kansas Class 6A state wrestling tournament in Wichita, KS, the Class 3A state basketball tournament in Hutchinson, KS and the Region VI junior college basketball tournament in Wichita, KS.
